TEACHING METHOD The programme is offered entirely through distance learning. All curricular educational activities are delivered online, using the most advanced digital technologies applied to teaching. In particular, the programme includes video lectures accompanied by textual and multimedia materials, seminars and guest lectures, practical exercises and web labs, as well as selfassessment tests. Students can access the course content at any time and from any location, either via PC through the MyUnimarconi Platform or via mobile devices through the Mobile Learning service. Asynchronous teaching activities (which can be freely accessed without time constraints) are complemented by specific interactive and collaborative learning activities, mainly through synchronous virtual classrooms. These are integrated with practical exercises, workshops, case study discussions, seminars, guest lectures, and group project work. In particular, students can interact with lecturers in real time through virtual classrooms, attending online lessons and exercises delivered by professors in connection with students, according to a schedule available on the MyUnimarconi Platform. TEACHING MODEL The adopted teaching model provides assisted learning throughout the entire educational path, with access to specifically developed teaching materials (audio/video lessons, handouts, slides, etc.) and a range of individual and/or group learning activities (virtual and/or inperson laboratories, simulations, exercises, internships, and training placements) guided by lecturers and tutors. This ensures dynamic, interactive, multimedia, and collaborative learning. The interactive lecturer-student relationship is further strengthened through the use of virtual classrooms. Throughout the duration of the program, students can rely on an individual tutoring service to support their studies and to address technological, logistical, and administrative issues.
Objectives
The Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering aims to prepare students for the development and use of information technologies by offering a very broad and comprehensive educational path. This distinguishes it from other computer science programs that do not have an engineering-oriented approach.
The program focuses on scientific foundations, through which students learn the fundamental elements of essential engineering disciplines, such as physics and, above all, mathematics (calculus, geometry, algebra, mathematical logic, statistics, and probability). These basic skills are complemented by solid training in computer science, together with the fundamentals of other Information Engineering disciplines, such as Electronics, Telecommunications, as well as aspects of Management Engineering.

The main employment opportunities provided by degree programs in this class include: IT industries operating in hardware and software production; automation and robotics industries; companies operating in the field of information systems and computer networks; service companies; and public administration IT services.
According to current regulations (Presidential Decree DPR 328/2001), graduates may practice as self-employed professionals after registration (through a State Examination) in the Junior Section of the following Professional Register:
